Moldovan Prime Minister Vlad Filat visited the Nefis sweets factory
Filat assessed working conditions at the factory and visited production halls.
Subsequently, employees presented Filat the factory, products and results the factory had achieved over the last 15 years.
The Moldovan prime minister said he was pleased with the factory.
“The current situation of this factory proves it is possible to launch successful businesses in Moldova. I thank investors for making this investment. The factory has over 400 employees, which means the lives of 400 families are ensured,” Filat said.
Filat said he had discussed Moldova’s investment climate and its improvement prospects with the factory’s leadership.
“It is clear that we must work more to draw investments and remove barriers in this sector. However, the fact that we can communicate and find solutions to improve the investment climate, is rather important,” Filat said.
